This is a great style for any formal event.  You won't have to worry about messing your hair up, since it is supposed to look messy. Create this style on your own by applying a curl-enhancing product and blow dry using a diffuser. Use large velcro rollers or hot rollers to create the curls and waves all over. Add height in the crown area by back combing small sections of hair. Spray the hair with a finishing spray or shine serum.

Add some highlights or lowlights to this type of style to brighten the face and open up the facial features. All over curls are created using a medium to large barrel curling iron. Most of the hair in the crown area is kept smooth and straight and the curls are on the bottom half of the hair.
