Sally Hershberger Predicts Penelope Cruz for Best Oscars 2010 Hair

Since she's styled the hair of many of this year's Oscar nominees, we thought we'd tap Sally Hershberger for a few red-carpet style predictions. StyleList caught up with Hershberger yesterday for a little Hollywood talk.

"I think we'll see romantic 1940's hair, maybe waves, or pulled-back romantic looks. Nothing so severe. Usually it's a case of figuring out what kind of hair works with the dress," says Hershberger. "This year's nominees are pretty laid back and low-key, so I doubt they'll do anything crazy."

When asked who Hershberger thinks will have the best 'do: "I'll put money on Penelope Cruz."

As long as we're on the topic of style predictions, we asked her what to expect for Spring's biggest hair trends and her emphatic response was, "Bohemian, sexy, long layers. Think Daria [Werbowy] and Gisele [Bundchen]. I like good, healthy texture -- bigger hair than we've seen lately. And side braids -- very bohemian."
